Annie Hoot was a kind but scatty little owl. She lived in a tree house deep in the woods. She was always coming up with new ideas for things to do, and her latest craze was knitting. But unfortunately, the other owls don't appreciate her wonderful knitted clothes, so she sets off round the world to find other animals who will.
Holly Clifton-Brown was born in London, and attended Chelsea School of Art Media and Design and Bristol UWE Faculty of Art, Media and Design, where she attained a first class honours BA in Illustration. Her work has been exhibited at The London Transport Museum and in the 2008 Degree Show at the Conningsby Gallery. As well as creating greeting card ranges she is now much in demand as a children's picture book illustrator.
