0. The Murrian - Paperback   £5.99
by Robert Dodds
(Books/All genres) (ISBN:9781842708453)

Ben and Clare are staying with Aunt Gwen in Antmouth for the summer. They've been told the coast there is haunted by the ghosts of smugglers, but they are soon much more alarmed by the living residents of the village. There's the tall thin fellow in charge of the Insect Zoo, who acts like the worst kind of mad scientist. And then there's all the fish-eyed golfers who seem to be spying on them. Why do their golf balls seem to get everywhere - even into the cottage itself? And what is going on in the big Bosswood estate at the top of the hill, where a mysterious dome rises above the trees? Most frightening of all, why do people from the village keep vanishing? Once again, in this fourth Ben and Claire Swift thriller, the thin curtain of normality is ripped aside, plunging the reader into a bizarre world of hidden terror!
0. The Secret Of Iguando - Paperback   £4.99

Then he gets the chance to join an expedition in a little explored part of the Mexican Jungle, and is able to take them with him. They are very excited before they even arrive, but nothing could prepare them for this new world, and the strange creatures in it. A new adventure featuring flying medicine men and glowing lizards for Claire and Ben in this third novel from a master of the spooky story.

Out of Shadows

by Jason Wallace

'Excellent. [Out of Shadows is] the
latest lacerating addition to the
boarding-school-as-living-hell genre
... read on if you have the courage.
The author attended a similar
establishment at the age of 12,
and gives every indication of knowing
exactly what he is writing about.'

Elmer's Special Day

by David McKee

'The first Elmer book seemed like a great and original one-off, McKee's extraordinary imagination and colourful art have between them maintained originality and delight over all these years: amazing.' Chris Brown, School Librarian
