Miriam Moss

Miriam Moss was born in Aldershot but she lived abroad in Africa, China and The Yemen before being schooled in the UK. She obtained a bachelor of education and she became an English teacher for a while.

She loves to travel and her hobbies include learning Italian, swimming, walking her dogs, yoga, natural history, art and gardening.

Mervyn Peake, Lewis Carroll, Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Dickens, Max Velthuijs, Quentin Blake, Anthony Browne and Shaun Tan are some of the people who have had a major influence in her life.
