Melvin Burgess inspires young readers on schools tour

 You guessed it, Melvin Burgess was touring London schools and libraries last week to talk about his first ever books, The Cry of the Wolf and Burning Issy, both of which have been re-issued by Andersen Press to reach an entirely new audience of younger readers. His events offered a fantastic insight into his own struggles to become a writer and the immense satisfaction having become one. We defy anyone, young or old, to not walk out of one of his talks without contemplating their own career as a world-renowned author! Not to mention with a copy of his books in their hands!
