Will Gallows Movie Deal!

Just a month after publication, Sir Elton John’s film company, Rocket Pictures has bought the film options for Will Gallows and the Snake-Bellied Troll by Derek Keilty.

Derek Keilty, author of Will Gallows and the Snake-Bellied Troll has had an exciting couple of weeks. Only a month after publication, Sir Elton John’s film company, Rocket Pictures bought the film options for his brilliant, fantasy-meets-Wild West novel for young readers. Then last week, Derek was over from his hometown, Belfast, to promote Will Gallows to over 1000 enthusiastic children in schools all over London.

Derek entertained the kids with readings from his novel (with an impressive American accent from Will Gallows!), tips on how to create characters, settings and stories and he made them all laugh with his blow-up cactus and Sheriff’s badge!
