Her books Counting Lions and The Road Home were both published internationally and received starred reviews in the US. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her hiking up a hill or eating cake.

Tor grew up in London and graduated from Kingston University with a BA in illustration. She has been working as an illustrator ever since. In 2012 she was awarded the Sendak Fellowship and spent a month in Connecticut.
