We are thrilled to share that two of our titles are shortlisted for this year’s the Week Junior Book Awards: Don’t Trust Fish by Neil Sharpson, illustrated by Dan Santat, in the Picture Book category and When The Sky Falls: Graphic Novel by Phil Earle, illustrated by Fred Fordham, in the Graphic Novel category!
The Week Junior Book Awards, now in its fourth year, celebrate the stories, authors and illustrators capturing young imaginations everywhere. The awards are run by the Week Junior, an award-winning weekly magazine, to champion the best books for young readers and improve awareness of the lifelong benefits of reading for pleasure.
Each category will be assessed by a panel of four judges made up of respected voices from education, publishing and the media. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in September.
