We are delighted to share that The Boy I Love by William Hussey has been shortlisted for the YA Book Prize 2026, celebrating outstanding fiction for young adults.
The Prize, organised by The Bookseller and run in partnership with Edinburgh International Book Festival, was established in 2014 to encourage more young people to read and to shine a light on the brilliant YA books across the UK and Ireland.
The winner will be announced during a live ceremony at Edinburgh International Book Festival in August 2026. It’s a fantastic achievement to be recognised among the best YA writers so congratulations to William and best of luck!
