Debbie Singleton grew up in Middlesbrough. Graduating from Cambridge University, she has travelled extensively all over the world. She has lived in Texas, Alaska, Trinidad and Western Australia and has also worked on an oil rig in the North Sea. She was inspired to start writing by her two young daughters. She lives in Esher. This is her first picture book.
